Do you think tea has any help on diabetes?

I guess white tea can be matured, green tea not.

If you steep green tea for long enough, like 6 or 7 minutes, the second infusion does not taste like much either. I tried with both better longjing and less expensive april mist. Same situation.

Thank you to you both for the response. There seems to be a lot of things for me to explore. I have fancied venturing into one of those herbal places for a long time. I think I’ll do that tomorrow with this excuse now. That online shop seems very educational with all those product info too!

How different is Longjing from April Mist? I mean in taste.

Does it mean better quality Longjing would be less bitter?

Do you think such tainted products would have reached the North America?

It was Itoen Yame Sencha for green tea and Yunnan Qi Zi Bing Cha for puer. I may not be an expert in tea but I do know 70C for sencha and 100C for puer.

I tried some expensive raw pu-er today and it was even lighter color than the picture in this site as I have linked it below. It would be difficult for me to accept it as the same kind of tea than the dark color, sweeter kind of pu-er that I have begun to like. If what is suggested here and in the articles by Leo is true, I wonder how the light color tea can turn into the kind of dark color tea, and how long it takes.
