How about the products at TeaHong?  Have those undergone testing?

I do rather like the look of the new bags.  My only complaint with the old ones was that they couldn’t stand.

I kind of have one, but I don’t like them and their selection is bad.

And then there’s a health-food store, but they store the leaves in clear containers facing the glass front door.  Who knows how long that’s been there?

Good point.  I ordered some of those magnolia cups, so now I’ll be able to do much better gongfu approaches.

That makes sense.  It’ll also give incentive to some (me) to try newer ones, as they don’t lose out if it’s not their…cup of tea!

    Ha!

I’ve read in places one can (jokingly) say:  Hong Bao Na Lai

    “Red envelope please!”

    Only to close people, though.

If one seasons a yixing pot, it will enhance the flavor of the tea you brew in it.

The caevat is that you have to use the same kTind of tea to season it as you will brew in it.

There’s an article on the main site:  http://www.teaguardian.com/how-to-make-tea/tea-accessories-yixing-teapot-1.html

Just put in an order.  I’d had a cart full of stuff for a while and was wondering why it was suddenly less than before.

Naturally, I used that gap to buy a few extra of a different type!

I hope the new packs serve us all well.  Small bummer on the change in quantity (though that means the prices are [mostly?] lower in absolute dollars – no idea on relative cost), though on the Congu it felt like it was almost too full at the old 85g.  I certainly crushed some leaves for the first couple times sealing it back up.  Ah well, TeaHong’s still in the growing stage, who knows what tomorrow brings?

I do have one question, though:  Will TeaHong ever support multiple packaging options?  That is, different weights of the same tea in either the kaddy or the pack?  Or perhaps sample options?

The future’s built from what’s behind us.

Personally, I put little stock in nationality.  While it may give me some ability to predict some things, people are too wildly different for it to be a useful guide.
    I think, anyways.

I intend to have a grasp of at least “functional phrases” – greetings, how to request things, etc – before I arrive, though I wonder if I wouldn’t be better served overall learning Mandarin.

That said, my desire to stray far from Hong Kong is rather…limited.
