I heard that it has been dry in Yunnan so the price and quality of Dianhong and Puer maybe affected. How is that rippling to other teas? I have a few green tea samples and the prices are quite different from last year. Any ideas or info?
The weather has not been consistent for a few years now. It’s just that some areas make up for the lost of others and some farmers less affected than others. Overall the prices have been consistently rising anyway. Weather or not. We are still gathering information from different regions to have a better picture. Early season prices are unreliable.
i think there is overall rise in price from china, after i see some samples this year
One very important way to manage your tea cost is a long term relationship with your suppliers, but that is with the condition that you finalize on those that you feel confident about their supply in terms of quality, honesty and pricing.
what is current wholesale for grade 1 xihu long-jing? grade 1 huangshan maofeng? need to know.
It is important to keep price sensitive communication to within PM (private messages).
