Maokong outside of Taipei is a centre of Taiwanese Tie Guan Yin production. You will find – plenty of teahouses, – a “Tea promotion centre” that exhibits some tea production machinery and has general information about tea,- a small museum on tea ware (no English captions, no English spoken), and- the Tea Master Chang Nai-Miao Memorial Hall (excellent English spoken), where the friendly couple who runs it will be happy to share a cup and talk tea.Worth a visit if you are in Taipei.
Also other teahouses in the area. A must go for tea lovers!
