hello readers, today I discovered this great site with so much information. But as far as I looked good its all mainly on Chinese tea. What I want is more information about Darjeeling tea and others from India. You can see your preferences when you type the title….like Darjeeling. It gives related topics like…what’s the difference respect to Chinese red teas.Would you be so kind to write me why you are not interested in other tea?best regards,Bart

      Bart (or jack60),

Darjeeling is a big tea to review. We need to locate first a sample superlative enough to compare to other more common ones in order to give it a fair write up.
If you are interested in reading about our reviews of teas from other region, there is a detail one about gyokuro from Japan here:
One about traditional black tea from Nepal here:
One about maocha from Laos here:
Indeed, a lot of varieties written up in our site are from China, but if you compare the proportion of tea varieties produced from that country with those from other regions, it is quite reasonable.
We shall be presenting a review on Uva (Sri Lanka) in the near future. Please subscribe to keep updated!

Much information in English about teas from China being superficial and inaccurate, it is so good to see Tea Guardian offering such richness of reviews of tea varieties and tea categorization definition in such a systematic way. There is too much about Darjeeling out here, I want to read more about rare oolongs and such wonderful things as Laos Maocha.

Besides, all other writings, such as tea health, are about tea in general. I think what ICE says about “tea equalizer” means a lot!
