That makes perfect sense. Thank you! Basing on this idea, does it mean that besides oolongs and pu’ers, varieties in other categories can mature too?

This is the first time I read anything like this anywhere. Thank you for such detail explanation. Does it mean there are still people making tea out of the leaves from one single bush? It seems rather inefficient to me. Would the tea taste very differently from those that are made from many trees?

Thanks for your answer Leo. This is so true. I think I should begin my adventure and start learning.

There are TCM doctors where I live too, but how do you judge which one is good?

So how long can you store a tin of Darjeeling? I suppose it is very different from an Assam FOP?

That seems like an expensive tea to me. I have also been using different temperature (not really voluntarily) with a green tea that came through mail yesterday: Tianshan April Mist. I found that hotter water made it too grassy and the texture not as nice as not so hot water. Maybe your way works only for that expensive oolong? We novice drinkers would better follow the guideline?

Thank you Sofie and MEversbergII. It is a very educational website to say the least. There are so many things I want to try to understand better what is written there. Will keep you posted.

Great shop! Thanks! I wonder why I have missed it all this time. This Milan Xiang is a lot more expensive than the Lychee Hong Cha I was looking for though. Will spend some time exploring it anyway.

It’s not your fault. You were trying to help. I am interested in what you suggested, but I could not find a shop section in this site. Or do you mean a teashop with Leo’s name?
