Longjing 43
ParticipantThe Longjing I got from a Hangzhou friend last March is now all brown, but the Longjing I bought from you is still green. Mine was even a lot more expensive. I kept both in the refrigerator. I don’t understand how this can be so. What happened? Why?

ParticipantI am sorry that happened to your tea. You must feel very bad about this since it seems to me that you love Longjing quite seriously. I cannot comment on what really happened to your Hangzhou batch; many things could have. As for ours, we simply follow strict procedures in storage and handling as I have explained in this article:
We do have some very special batches stored at below 0°C, but Longjing from 2012 has been stored only as usual at around 5.Before storage, however, proper processing and drying provide the fundamental material basis. Packaging materials and proper sealing are critical as well. -

ParticipantThat Longjing was so expensive. almost 4000 RMB for 1 jin farm price. Now it does not taste the same la. Luckily I still have yours. I think I will not make too many adventures buying from other places any more. I think you have a special trade secret of buying at such low price for this kind of quality. I think I will not be able to learn it unless I spend a lot of time. Are you able to supply even higher quality than LJSE in your shop? I’ll be very interested.

ParticipantI’m inclined to think that Leo notices details others do not, and thus walks away with a higher quality product. With that in mind, I have not ordered from anyone else since TeaHong’s been open, really.
