ParticipantHas anyone else tried this? I’ve been really impressed with the convenience, although unfortunately it is plastic.

ParticipantFirstly, I don’t think plastic is good for making tea in it. Secondly, The leaves are trapped in that tiny space and I know that’s not good for infusion. There is not even a cover so I think the tea won’t be good.I think this is much better: https://teahong.com/91061-tea-set-tea-for-one-yaobian.htmlalthough it is sold out. -

ParticipantAs for the tea not moving around in that area. It moves around as much as in a smallish infuser, but not as much as it would in that lovely all in one piece you linked to. Too bad all 3 of those all in one pieces are sold out.

ParticipantThe pot you linked to, would your hands burn holding it? If it’s ceramic and has no handle, how do you pick it up without burning your hands?

ParticipantI think plastic is really not good to make infusion ware. It seems a clever design making use of water level, but the water infusing the tea is the coldest in the ware. This seems like worse than a small infuser ball that is submersed in the pot.I think an old fashion infuser mug solve the convenience issue much better than this. As for the tea for one set, I was late to buy it too! -

ParticipantBefore Snowball broke it, that tea for one was my favorite. I guess it was the design of the two holding snubs and the thickness of the material which both insulate the heat. Great to use. I think they said some time mid this year they will restock again.

ParticipantIf you do a search for quick for “Quick Gongfu” on ebay you will get some reasonable alternatives. Not quite as beautiful though.
