      I’m looking for a good source for high quality organic Japanese Matcha (and Gyokuro and Sencha) tea that is also fairly priced. I have bought from O-Cha before but was wondering if they are the best way to go.

      If you are in USA, try itoen.com. I don’t know how their price compares, but they are reliable for daily quality, because they are really big and has a very long history in Japanese tea. Shipping cost from Japan for specialist quality is quite prohibitive.

      Is this available in HK? I prefer real shop when it can give me what I need. What’s the Kanji for this?

      That’s 伊藤園. I think you can get it in City Super, but not many choices.

      Itoen owns their own plantations and is also a major tea buyer for many others within and outside of Japan for Japanese style green tea. They have very fine gyokuro too, but you have to get it in Japan or in their Japanese online shop. I am not sure about their online shop in the US, but I heard that they are there mostly to back up their ready to drink products. I don’t blame them, most people nowadays still cannot cut the habit of bottled drinks.
