It is, and is spoken in the province around it (Guangdong), but not anywhere else, I think. Well, a good portion of Chinese immigrants seem to be Cantonese speaking.
That said, I have not met a Cantonese speaking person who did not also speak Mandarin.
Not certain wher all of our Chinese members are from though; I know we have at least four who live in Hong Kong, though.
