sofie1212I have question to ask after seeing the large Yunnan tea leaves in the Facebook photos. They are all so very big in size, but how come the leaves in the tea are so much smaller? Do thy shrink so much after production processing?
HokusaiBecause only the leaf buds and very young leaves are picked for processing to make tea! I have been in Yunnan tea mountains too! In Yi Wu Shan, they have really big trees and large leaves, but the buds are also small, like you see in mao cha.
