Would there be any Firm that would also be interested in marketing the tea grown by the small scale tea farmers of East Africa.
We are interested. Would be glad if you provide more info about your farm and tea. You can either send me a message or post it here.
My farm is located along the Abardare Ranges in Kenya. We grow the green tea.
Okay, let’s start by you answering these questions:
The Farm is 2 acres. We do have about 4,000 tea bushes. In a week we could
have an average of 5 workers. These small scale farmers sell to a
factory that process the tea on their behalf and also the market. The
leaves are plucked on a weekly bases.I manage the farm.I am the owner of
the farm.we are at an altitude of approximately 7,000ft to 10,000ft
above sea level.Other produce at this altitude are the tree tomatoes
,pears and plums.
