Pinglin Tea Museum

3.50 (1 review)

Perhaps the world’s largest museum dedicated tea, Pinglin Tea Museum shows not only the history, production processing, and culture of tea, but also its commercial and horticultural development with reference particularly to Taiwan. The traditional architecture complex is complete with a Chinese garden comprising corridors, pavilions and rockery.

Very nice Chinese pavilions where one can sit for a long time enjoying the nice garden and watching people in their leisurely mood.

The wax manikins are useful to help me understand what goes on in the tea farm, but they make me feeling uncomfortable at the same time

The garden, courtyards and general environment are very pleasant. There was a small shop setting where the I could taste some some of the tea varieties that I have always wanted to try. 5 stars for the lady who served us.

However, I think they need to upgrade their strange looking wax dummies in the exhibits. They spoil the whole experience. Otherwise, it was very educational and everyone were so friendly there.
